First, this place used to have many, many reviews and suddenly the entire place and all the good reviews were removed from the map. Apparently they need they need to validate their existence again with Google. Maybe due to so many that went out of biz due to the pandemic ? Second, this has been a favorite stop along I85 out here in rural S. VA for years. You can expect a nice independently owned little place with good food along your travels. Don't be discouraged by the 1/2 mile drive of the highway and rural setting. It's worth it! Tony the owner is originally from Sicily and has operated this place for over a decade and usually always there as head chef.

Usually I'm too lazy to leave a review Especially if I'm not asked. But not this time! Great atmosphere! The menu didn't have the pasta I'm used to, but the chef personally came out to clarify my preferences and cooked it according to my recipe! Huge portions! They added freshly baked bread to my order, although I didn't ask for it. Bravo! Convenient large parking lot, suitable for trucks. It's nice when people do their job with love and attention!

We stopped here while traveling, and I'm so glad we did!! We had a big bowl of the minestrone (which tasted homemade), crispy chicken ceaser salad, white pizza with chicken, and a cheesesteak all for less than 50. Everything was DELICIOUS, and the owner is so friendly and kind. We'll definitely stop again whenever we're traveling this way.

Came her for lunch last Friday and we loved it! Pizza was so big we ate it for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning. My girls are still talking about how yummy it was and how they want to feed the fish again. Our waitress was very nice and the place had a nice calm vibe. We will be back!

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised when we stopped at Little Italy for lunch when traveling North on 85 through VA. My husband and I both ordered a small calzone. ( a regular and a vegetarian). First off they were huge and could have been shared. Most importantly, they were made to order and both were delicious! The sauce provided for dipping was homemade and quite yummy. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. My hope is that our left overs are just as delicious reheated. We will definitely make Little Italy a favorite stopping point when traveling North.
